The Traditional Arms CamDock TR-1 is a purpose-built polymer mount that secures an Axon Body 3 or Body 4 camera to the headrest or upper seatback of a patrol vehicle. It gives officers a fixed, reliable recording position covering the rear passenger compartment during prisoner transport, replacing the improvised fix of wedging a body camera between the headrest and seat cushion with a deliberate one.

Most departments policy requires the transport be recorded. Most patrol vehicles have no rear-facing camera. The CamDock TR-1 closes that gap with a single piece of equipment that installs in seconds, transfers between vehicles without modification, and requires no integration with the vehicle’s electrical or camera systems.

Construction

Single-piece polymer cradle sized to the Axon Body 3 and Body 4 footprint. The camera drops in from the top and seats positively against the internal geometry, leaving the lens, microphone, and record button unobstructed. No tools. No adapters. No removing the camera from its uniform mount to seat it.

Mounting

Two-inch webbing with a heavy-duty side-release buckle wraps the headrest posts, the upper seatback, or both axes simultaneously for vehicles where a single strap orientation will not hold position.
